COMMON QUESTIONS

BlackRock, Inc. Portfolio FAQ

Answers to common questions about the latest reported 13F portfolio and how to interpret it.

What is BlackRock, Inc.’s latest reported portfolio?

BlackRock, Inc.’s latest verified Form 13F snapshot for Q2 2026 reports 249 primary non-option positions with reported portfolio value unavailable. The filing date was Aug 7, 2026.

What does portfolio weight mean on BlackRock, Inc.’s portfolio?

Portfolio weight is calculated across the primary non-option holdings shown in the tracker. Reported puts and calls are excluded from this denominator and, when present, are displayed separately.

Does BlackRock, Inc.’s 13F show exact buy prices or trade dates?

No. Form 13F is a quarter-end holdings disclosure filed later. It does not reveal exact transaction dates or execution prices. MarketInsiderLab therefore labels filing-basis and reference-price metrics as estimates and withholds unsupported values.

Are reported options included in BlackRock, Inc.’s portfolio?

BlackRock, Inc. currently has 1 reported option position in the latest filing. They are shown separately because option-reported values are not equivalent to ordinary equity ownership and are excluded from primary portfolio weighting.

Signals

Fresh SEC ownership signals from Schedule 13D and 13G disclosures, separate from the quarterly 13F portfolio.

COMMON QUESTIONS

BlackRock, Inc. Signals FAQ

Answers about 13D/13G ownership signals, Item 4 intent and filing freshness.

What are BlackRock, Inc.’s latest ownership signals?

No ownership signal currently passes the publication gate for BlackRock, Inc.. Unsupported, ambiguous or unverified disclosures are withheld rather than guessed.

How are BlackRock, Inc.’s 13D and 13G filings different from the 13F portfolio?

A 13F is a delayed quarter-end holdings snapshot. Schedule 13D and 13G filings can disclose significant beneficial ownership between 13F reports, and a Schedule 13D can also reveal activist, strategic, board-related or control intentions.

What can Item 4 of a Schedule 13D reveal?

Item 4 describes the purpose of the transaction. It can matter even when the reported ownership percentage barely changes because the filing may disclose board activity, strategic proposals, transaction discussions or explicit control-related intentions. MarketInsiderLab publishes an intent classification only when the filing language supports it.

How fresh are BlackRock, Inc.’s ownership signals?

The ownership engine records precise SEC scan timestamps. The latest recorded SEC scan for the current ownership pipeline was Sep 25, 2026 01:45 UTC. Published signals retain their source filing and processing timestamps.

COMMON QUESTIONS

BlackRock, Inc. Filing History FAQ

How verified quarter history, exits, re-entries and withheld periods are handled.

How far back does BlackRock, Inc.’s verified filing history go?

The currently available canonical history runs from Q3 2016 through Q2 2026, with 40 quarters marked READY. This describes the verified history currently available in the tracker and does not claim completeness before the oldest supported filing.

Does filing history reveal exact buy and sell dates?

No. The history compares verified quarter-end disclosures. It can show that a position appeared, increased, decreased, remained unchanged or disappeared between filings, but it does not infer an exact transaction date that the SEC filing does not provide.

How are exits and later re-entries handled?

A full reported exit ends the prior filing-basis episode. If the security later reappears, the backend treats it as a new episode rather than carrying the old basis through the gap.

Why are some historical values unavailable?

Historical values are withheld when continuity, identity, price, filing-basis or source evidence is not strong enough to support the metric. The tracker is designed to fail closed rather than fill gaps with unsupported assumptions.

Methodology

Coverage is bounded to BlackRock’s top reported positions and material events rather than every security in each Form 13F. Source filings may contain additional securities, and 13F filings do not reveal exact trade dates or execution prices.

1. Start with SEC filings

Official Form 13F filings and the canonical MarketInsiderLab filing record are authoritative. Unsupported or unverified data is withheld.

2. Verify the filing denominator

Portfolio weights use the verified full filing total. Security identity and corporate actions are reconciled before publication.

3. Compare quarter-end snapshots

Changes compare verified SEC-reported quarter-end positions. They do not represent exact trade dates, execution prices, or intraperiod activity.

What Form 13F can — and cannot — show

These pages track the reporting manager’s public 13F disclosures. A 13F is a delayed quarter-end snapshot, not a complete or real-time portfolio.

Reporting lag

Form 13F is generally due within 45 days after quarter-end. Snapshot and filing dates are shown separately, and positions may have changed before the filing became public. Amendments or later confidential-treatment releases can also revise the public record.

Portfolio scope

The filing mainly shows long positions in reportable 13F securities, not every asset or exposure. Cash, short positions, private investments, many bonds and other non-reportable holdings can sit outside the filing.

Options and security continuity

Reported puts and calls are kept separate from ordinary shares, and their reported values should not be read as cash invested. Share classes, ticker changes, splits and supported corporate actions are reconciled; unresolved identity or continuity issues are withheld.

Directory concentration filters

On Investor Portfolios, Concentrated means the top five reported holdings are at least 60% of reported portfolio value; Diversified means 35% or less. Profiles between those thresholds are in neither quick filter.

Estimate definitions

Reported filing data and calculated estimates are kept separate. Estimates are published only when the required inputs pass validation.

Latest available price

The latest verified price held by this tracker, dated as shown. It is not necessarily a live quote.

Quarter-end price (from filing)

Reported holding value divided by reported shares after unit validation. It is not a purchase price or an independently verified market close.

Estimated holding basis

A calculated per-share reference from verified filing history and split-adjusted reported changes. It is not actual purchase price or tax basis; a limited-history date marks the reference start.

1-year performance

Published only when four consecutive quarterly estimates pass QA and the weakest leg has at least 70% measurable coverage. Because the estimate is derived from quarter-end filing snapshots, it does not capture all intraperiod trading, cash or non-13F assets and is not an audited fund return.

COMMON QUESTIONS

BlackRock, Inc. Methodology FAQ

Sources, calculation rules, continuity checks and the fail-closed publication policy.

Where does MarketInsiderLab get BlackRock, Inc.’s portfolio data?

The tracker is built from verified SEC filings, primarily Form 13F for portfolio holdings and Schedule 13D/13G for significant beneficial-ownership disclosures. Market-price layers are used only where the methodology explicitly allows them.

What is an SEC reference price?

It is an economic interpretation derived from the SEC-reported value and reported shares for a filing observation. It is not presented as the investor’s actual purchase price or execution price.

How are stock splits and other corporate actions handled?

Security continuity and corporate-action checks are applied before publishing history, basis and performance metrics. When continuity cannot be established confidently, affected calculations are withheld rather than forced across incompatible observations.

When does MarketInsiderLab withhold a metric or signal?

The system withholds output when required source evidence, security identity, continuity, price data or methodology conditions are not sufficient. This fail-closed policy is intentional: unsupported precision is not published.
